  2. I'm so sorry that you missed it. I felt silly, so I just whispered 'hoodie hoo' out my back door, and I don't think that had the same cobweb-clearing effect.

Lady Steed and I yelled it as soon as we read your blog (around 1:30).

    But I have questions:

Is hoodiehoo only celebrated in temperate zones? When is it celebrated in the Southern Hemisphere?

  4. In the Southern Hemisphere Hoodie Hoo Day is August 22nd.

While looking this up, I just discovered that Hoodie Hoo Day is a copyrighted holiday, under the name Wellcat Holidays & Herbs. Wellcat.com has several holidays listed as "theirs" exclusively. They want anyone who uses them to contact them for permission. Oopps! None of the sites that I use for sources claimed a copyright on this holiday.

Anyway, the owners of the copyright give a list of 20 ways to deal with cabin fever, which probably still happens in tropical zones during monsoon season. So, perhaps, they do the "hoodie hoo" yell. Perhaps, they don't because Welcat.com vitamins haven't been marketed that far away yet. :)

  5. Man, I'm way late.

    Hoodie hoo!

And apparently I'm way late to join in your happy! happy! joy! joy! since you've removed that post. Did something happen to the reason for the happy happy joy joy or was it censored because you were concerned it might lead somehow to you getting Dooced? (I'm not sure how since you didn't say anything bad, but it occurred to me since it was work-related.)

  6. I'm sorry that you missed the joyfullness of Hoodie hoo.

I didn't noticed that I had clicked on the "save as draft" button for the Happy joy post and it put it back into draft mode, when I was working on a post that I probably won't ever publish- a follow-up post about my thoughs about the KUED thing. The two posts are right next to each other. I got comflusterbuxted.

I just published it again, now. So you can sare in the happy happy joy.

I don't think I need to be worried about being dooced, but maybe I should ponder on that.
