My Story for the Day

So, I started writing a story, and then decided that I didn't want to tell that story, so I deleted it. But I deleted the wrong post. And I deleted the post with the image that I really, really liked. And it is on my computer at home. So, I can't re-create that post now.

But, basically, the post that I accidently deleted said that today is Story Day, so we should all tell stories today.

So, if you read it before, here is your second reminder that today is Story Day.

Thank you for your patience with this absent-minded blogger.

  1. So, I just noticed that you changed your layout. Very nice.

Though I'm not sure if the color is really how I see you. Hmm . . . Maybe we'll have to change that.

And I noticed that there's a sizing issue with the heading in your sidebar.

  2. Umm, am I missing something? What issue? What heading? What did I mess up?

  3. Once you get to the "Future Bloggers" heading, it's a smaller font size than the previous headings, such as "My Favorite Menschen." Then, when you get to "Archives," it gets miniscule. It could perhaps be my browser, but perhaps not.

And as I think about it, shouldn't I be your favoritestest menschen and therefore get top billing? I give you top billing in my sidebar.

  4. Now I see it. I can see it on this computer, but not on the one at my desk, or the one at home.

Hmmm. I wonder what I did to make it do that.

Is it the white that bothers you? or the burgandy? I have been playing around with it since Friday, oscilating between keeping the black... but it published itself yesterday, and th. noticed it, so I decided to keep it.

  5. Favoritestest Mensch: I believe that both your list and my list are alphabetical, therefore, the only reason that I have top billing is because my name begins with an "a" and the only reason that you don't have top billing is because you don't start with an "a".

  6. I think it's the burgundy; you strike me as more of a forest gal. Of course, it could also be the starkness of the burgundy against the white.

  7. In regards to the listing, I believe that is immaterial. Perhaps Briam should no longer be your friend if you're going to insist on such silly anachronisms as alpha order.

  8. I'm not too fond of forest green, it reminds me of someone I don't like.

I did try lime green, which has been my color of choice lately, but it doesn't show up too well on white or black.

  9. Maybe you should change your name to Aedgy Killer Bunny.

Briam has me listed as his muse. It would be very un-muse-like to de-alphabetise my list.

  10. What if you tried a limish green on a chocolatish brown?

  11. I don't know if I can get the computer to change my name to Ædgy. It's worth a try.

  12. I got the new colors from my thow blankets on my couch. But, perhaps I should go with more of a frog-color theme for my blog.

After all, someone did find my blog by searching for "frogs and princes" which made me very happy.

  13. Lime green and brown... could work. I have an outfit that I really like that are those colors.

Next three day weekend I might try it out. I am kinda tired of code right now.

Wow. I am impressed that you would change your name just to get to the top of my list. :)

  14. Whatever it takes . . .

If you wanted, you could probably come over tonight and we could work through the code together. It would give me an excuse not to write for Fob tomorrow . . .

  15. Master Fob loves me. He could never be mad at me.

  16. LL shouldn't be trying to pound you, she is just a wee little thing, and might hurt herself. ;)

  17. Briam! You wimp. I haven't pounded you in years.
AMS, I like the layout, but most of all I like the experimentation. May I suggest my favorite color combination: cherry bing? Pink and brown. It's pleasing to the eye as well as delicious- if you're actually eating bing cherries.

  18. LL . . .

I think that's a great color combination. I think you should start up a blog with those colors. :)
