Personally, I hold that 13 is a lucky number, and I particularly enjoy Friday the 13.
I used to have roommates where it was an apartment tradition that we went on a group date on Friday the 13. It was required, no excuses. You cancelled all other plans to go on the group date on the 13.
Swamped at work actually, deadlines hanging over my head like a guillotine and looking for any reason to have private-non-public-service-related-brain-vacation.
That sounds like a fun tradition by the way.
