Specimen Days by Michael Cunningham. I highly reccommend it, up to a point.
It looks like a good one. I will have to try it while I am waiting for other recommendations.
I'm of the opinion that one should read in a book every day. End of discussion.
And as long as you're waiting for recommendations, let me start by saying that I am going to highly recommend the Percy Jackson chronicles. The first book is The Lightning Thief. It's like Harry Potter but with the Greek gods, who have now taken up residence in Manhattan.
Oooo, that sounds good too. So many choices...
