Do you know what they're like inside?

This page on the HGTV website will take you to the preview that has been shown on HGTV. We think there will be more later.

There are 11 apartments on the first floor, 12 on the second, and 8 on the third, which is converted attic space, for a total of 31 apartments- 25 1-bedroom and 6 studio. On the third floor is a community room and a laundry facility. The hallways have been kept to their historic widths and the first and second floors have the original high ceilings and wainscoting. On the west side of the building dormer windows were installed to allow natural light into the apartments. On the east side the view from the street retains the historic roofline. Each apartment floorplan is unique- no two apartments are the same. The sizes range from 450 sq ft to almost 900 sq ft. Two of the apartments have exposed brick walls- they are my favorite apartments. Two apartments are split level units and so it is a senior apartment building, they have motorized stair lifts inside the units.

The hallways are wide enough to be used as common areas and are furnished with Victorian style furnishings, and there are two 15 foot palm trees to accent ceilings.

I can tell you more if you want.

How did you get the gig?

I found that I couldn't do much in my field with an English Degree, so a took a job at a local quasi-governmental agency. I started as a lowly office specialist, and then showed my coworkers what an English majors can really do... research, and learn new concepts and assimilate them into everyday speech. I eventually worked my way up to Executive Assistant, assistant grant writer and one who takes photos for the office. Now, I really love my job.
