Skittles are good... but, are they that good?

LOCKED IN TRUNK -- A 23-year-old Orem man locked himself in the truck of his car early Saturday while attempting to retrieve some stray Skittles.

The man decided to clean his car at 4:30 a.m. and accidentally knocked away the device that held the trunk open, police said.

He called police from his cell phone, which he had on him while locked in the trunk. Orem police were able to get him out. (Tuesday, May 02, 2006

Skittles? I don't think so. Now, Reese's Pieces on the other hand . . .

We ate, oh, three pounds of Reese's Pieces during our drives too and from.

Which may mean I need a cell phone.

I will concede that Reese's Pieces are better than Skittles, but are they worth getting locked in a trunk and having to call the police to get you out? Embarrassing! (Sorry to whoever it was this happened to if you ever come across this.) If you had a cell phone with you, couldn't you call a friend to go get your spare key. (Okay LL, no telling stories on me here.)

Th. Please don't go after any stray candy when cleaning out your car. Give yourself and your family a rest from excitement. (I am glad to have read that you all are okay by the way, and I hope your leg gets all better soon.)
